The Friends of Hertingfordbury Cowper Primary School
What ? Who ? and Why ?
The Friends of Hertingfordbury Cowper Primary School are a community of adults who support the school including parents, grandparents, past parents and others. All parents, guardians and carers of pupils at the school are automatically members. There is no registration nor fees to pay required.
From this group a committee is formed to support the school by fund-raising for additional resources and providing enriching experiences for the whole community. The committee at present is made up of two grandparents and seven mums who are also working and give up some of their spare time to organise events. The committee is voted in at the annual AGM and nominations are open to all.
There is also a sub committee of parents/carers/relations who are willing to be called on to help with specific events as required. If you would like to join this sub committee please contact any member of the committee (see website http://www.friendsofhcps.co.uk) who will arrange for your name and contact details to be added or alternatively email to firstname.lastname@example.org. This does not entail any commitment.
As stated above the aim of the Friends is to organise events for the enrichment and entertainment for adults and pupils and hopefully at the same time raise funds to support the school.
